Great job Emma and the guy from the buddy boat!! When we get his name give a shout out! lol Take away from this is knowing the engine is running, maybe Teal can rig an LED indicator that it's running if something drowns out the sound in the future 🙂 Yes 2 way radios could come in handy for even boat to shore when you have no mobile signal. OR get a couple bullhorns lol (the ones with sirens so you can warn other boats) Great save!!

Nice vid. I was born and raised in the Panama Canal Zone. Went out a few times from Port Bello. Isla Grande is nearby. Then San Blas. Had a blast there when we used to camp. Small outer island in the Holandes Cays. West side. Indians would let my dad stay there. (He lived with them as a kid). And the rain. We would call the heaviest rain, chocosana. White rain in Kuna. Rain so hard you could hardly make out the bow of your boat if your were at the stern.

Nice work Emma. Nothing worse than dragging anchor in a storm. You did what needed to be done to save your boat and home. I’ve saved boats in Monterey California in some really strong winds running outboard engines. It’s not easy. looking forward to your next video.

What’s the purpose of having a 45 second delay on the RPMS? In me semi truck I turn the key all gages move once they are in the rest position I can start my truck immediately I have arm once my truck is running

Hi guys, wow what a good job Emma did fantastic just shows you it’s always good wave want to know what’s going on in the boat/yacht/catamaran , I had a boat years ago and I’ve got my other half to do a skippers license with me. She said to me why would you want to do that? I said what happens if I had a heart attack or break my leg or something etc etc always good for everyone I know how to operate anyway, good to see everything was okay in the end , Cliff from Logan City Queensland Australia 🇦🇺 , we are on the big island

Teal, you may want to remove the delay timer from energizing the alternators and have the Victron system delay energizing the house loads. That way the alternators can handle the boat loads and indicate the engine RPM right away. 45 seconds is an eternity during a situation, just ask Emma.

Just wondering.. Why didn't you get your mouth work done the same time as Emma got hers? You where in a town where it was right there, that sounds like the perfect time to do it rather then going to another town then having to take a buss trip...

Those buses...your very brave Linh, it's hard to know what they'll be like. I took one last month from San Jose Costa Rica to Perez Zeldon...it was comfortable, at night on a windy road so, kinda fun. Then I took a more local bus to Uvita and it was sweltering hot, the seats were hard and it was so packed I thought, "how could this be legal?" 😮 Next month...Drake bay...hope it's not a chicken-stile bus! ((😬))
